Broadlink, in an attempt to reduce some of these risks to its subscribers, has installed a subscription based  service that protects you from many common threats. Of course the only true protection from ALL cyber crimes, viruses and spyware would be to unplug your Internet feed! That said, our filtering service called "Safe Internet" does the following:

Filters for viruses not only through email, but at the web surfing level.

Filters out unwanted and adult material websites. The list of websites that are filtered are not maintained by Broadlink exclusively, but rather from a huge open source community of people with common goals.

Filters out all port scans - This is a great feature since most internet related security breaches start with a virus or a hacker port scanning for "open doors"

Filters out most common spyware and malware self installations.

Unfortunately, The service is a fee based service due its high maintenance and overhead to run. However, we feel it is a value and will ultimately save you money in the end.

Service Monthly Fee - $3.00 per month  $10.00 setup per subscriber connection. (If you have multiple computers, you still only pay one fee)
